Currently every deployment runs in a single Travis job concurrently. This messes up the logs and it's also hard to see what actually runs at all.
The different deployment jobs should run concurrently in the deploy build stage.
* The getting started guide includes a brief section for the SystemJS configuration of a project using Angular Material. This extra section now also needs to include the CDK package.
Fixes#5624
Recently the rollup globals have been changed because the operators are no longer applied to the prototype (using `/add/` imports).
This now causes some warnigns and invalid id's in the bundles of the Material examples because those still use the `/add/` imports in some examples.
* Fixes the dashboard deployment to Firebase. Currently the deployment is being cancelled because the functions are having compilation errors (due to TypeScript definition updates of `express`)
The dashboard payload size chart showed invalid curves for the Material and CDK package size. This happened because there were multiple different values for the same day (multiple PRs merged into master at the same day). Removing the duplicate values and only taking the last result of the day ensures that the curve is always correct and also makes the chart way better in performance.
Uses the `LOCALE_ID` from `@angular/core` to determine the default locale in the `NativeDateAdapter`.
BREAKING CHANGE: Until now, the `NativeDateAdapter` was using the browser locale, however the `LOCALE_ID` appears to default to `en-US`.
Fixes#5393.
* Add ability to disable datepicker pop-up in read-only mode.
* Change readOnly to disabled
* Added ability to disable datepicker toggle when the input is disabled.
* Lint edits
* Failed test fixes
* Allow disabled input to disable popup unless specified otherwise for
datepicker.
* Minor comment edits
* Added host bindings and changed delegation logic.
* Added tests for cascade and removed async testing.
Fixes an error that was being thrown when attempting to close the panel of an autocomplete that is inside a destroyed view. The issue is that `closePanel` can end up getting called multiple times in a row, which leads to an attempt to call `detectChanges` on a destroyed `ChangeDetectorRef`.
Fixes#5413.
If the user has an `md-select` with an `ngModel` that doesn't have a name inside a form, the forms module will throw an error, however Material will also start throwing errors, which may cause confusion. These changes add a null check so our errors don't get mixed up with the forms error.
Fixes#5402.
* The input module currently depends on the forms module. This is not necessary, because the input is able to work without `NgModel` or a `FormControl` as well.
* Currently the slide-toggle module always imports the `FormsModule` and therefore when treeshaking the `FormsModule` would be always included (even if FormsModule is not used at all)
* When the select is focused and is also required, the asterisk of the select should use the accent palette. Similar to the Material Design input specifications.
Fixes#5496
* Switches the progress spinner component to `OnPush` change detection.
* Removes a workaround for older Angular 2.x versions where inherited lifecycle hooks weren't being called.
* Fixes some wrong terminology in the spinner demo.
Relates to #5035.
This is something I noticed while working on the nested menus: We're subscribing to the `close` event internally inside the menu trigger, but we're never unsubscribing. These changes complete the observable so we don't have to unsubscribe manually.
* The PromiseCompleter is not used anywhere and in reality everbody can implement such a thing on his own. Also since there is the best practice to resolve/reject the promise while being inside of the anonymous function.
* The root tsconfig file used to have proper autocompletion in editors like WebStorm is currently not working correctly. The path to the `@angular/cdk/testing` package is mapped to a non-existing folder.
* Now TSLint starts reporting unused variables again (Rule has been un-deprecated and now uses the type checker
* In favor of linting the whole project the tsconfig file inside of `src/` needs to live in the project root.
* includes @angular/cdk in github material installation instructions
* Mention the latest builds instructions
Add the latest builds instructions in the installation section (Step 1).
* Delete the installation section
The Getting Started section has all the information necessary to proceed with installations: https://github.com/angular/material2/issues/5552#issuecomment-313581831
* Switches the snack bar component to `OnPush` change detection.
* Removes the `detectChanges` workaround for the choppy animations, because it no longer works with `OnPush`. Properly fixes the initial issue by providing a `void` animation state.
Relates to #5035.
* fix(tooltip): remove native event listener on component destroy
Component should clean up events it has registered to.
Closes#4499
* Break at higher syntactic level
* Undo accidental formatting
Fixes an issue that caused the wrong amount of options to be read out by NVDA. E.g. if the select has 3 options, NVDA reads out "<value> selected, 2 of 4". The issue seems to come from the fact that NVDA considers the trigger as one of the options, potentially because it's clickable.
Uses the menu panel's overlay position to determine the animation origin, instead of the trigger. These changes make it easier to follow and avoid having to correct it explicitly based on the `overlapTrigger` flag, in addition to fixing some issues in nested menus.
* With #5429 dgeni runs twice when running the `gulp docs` command. This is because the dgeni generate function has been added to the `dgeni/index.js` file.
* Most of the `whenStable()` promise calls can be replaced with the `flushMicrotasks` method, which just flushes them instead of waiting for them to really happen (when using `async`).
* This reduces nesting of functions and also makes the tests in theory faster.
* Fixes a server-side rendering error in the ink bar due to a lack of `requestAnimationFrame`. The error is being logged, but it didn't fail the build, because it happens in a lifecycle hook.
* Enables the checkbox and button toggle cases in the kitchen sink since it looks like they're not failing anymore.
