Removes type checking from the `switchIdentifiersRule` because we don't want to depend on types for older versions when running the schematics. The rule still maintains the explicit checks that ensure that only identifiers from Material or the CDK are being updated,
* Switches back from `dart-sass` to `node-sass` due to a pretty huge slow-down we noticed (can be revisited)
* No longer copies all SCSS files to the temporary `package` output just in favor of the demo-app (slows down unnecessarily). This now allows us to live-reload theme changes within a second.
* No longer rebuilds all package SCSS files twice for the ES5 output (rel: https://github.com/angular/material2/pull/7403)
As discussed, renames the `@deletion-target` tag to `@breaking-change` to make the intentions of the tag clearer. Also adds an extra check to the tslint rule to catch any leftover `@deletion-target` tags.
* Switches to dart-sass in order to be consistent with the Bazel output. That way we can identify potential issues with the SASS output (e.g. demo-app) before we at some point make the full-switch.
* Also speeds-up the project installs because libsass bindings are no longer needed (trade-off with compilation time though; but pretty minimal due to our amount of Sass files)
* Shows method overloads in the documentation instead of showing the overload-base method that has most likely no `JSDoc` nor good-explaining parameter names (parameters have multiple purposes and types)
* Depending on the timing for building the assets and building the ESM output (kind of randomly), building the Material package will result in NGC failures. This happens when running the `material:build-no-bundles` task (e.g. unit testing; serving the dev-app) because the assets are built in parallel with the ESM output.
* Removes a duplicated function in the package-tools.
This is necessary so that, when generating ngInjectableDefs, ngc can
correctly determine the import location for injected dependencies.
Without this, the generated imports use a relative path to dist instead
of e.g. "@angular/cdk/overlay". In real life it's not a problem because
the packages are resolved to node_modules.
Between rxjs 5.5 and 6.0 the global name changed from `Rx` to `rxjs`, however ours is still set to `Rx`. These changes switch to using the correct name.

Replaces the `selector-nested-pattern-scoped` Stylelint rule with a new rule called `no-ampersand-beyond-selector-start`. The new rule will enforce that ampersands can only be used at the start of selectors in theme mixins. This will catch issues like #10889 and #10904 where having an ampersand anywhere else in the selector will work in most cases, but will break down once the mixin is wrapped in a selector.

This includes:
* Adding missing schema json to package
* Add missing packageGroup entries to material, cdk, and moment-adapter
* Move schematics for migration to the migrate-specific schema
* Bump version to 6.0.0-rc.11
This change enables material and cdk packages to take advantage of webpacks more advanced optimizations
documented at https://github.com/webpack/webpack/tree/master/examples/side-effects
Our code is already side-effect free because otherwise @angular-devkit/build-optimizer would break it, so it's safe
to turn this on.
* WIP: migrate migration tool to schematics
* address comments
* fix bazel
* make released version work
* Add additional rules
* wip
* wip
* yay, working
* all rules migrated
* combine packages in single `npm i` call
* update schematics version and fix TODOs
In order to make this work, this includes:
* Move schematics under src/lib
* Change sass rules to omit sourcemaps
* Add cdk/text-field and lib/tree to packages list
* Add bazel rules for prebuilt themes
* Add html assets to all ng_module rules
* Point all ng_module rules to a package common tsconfig
* Add missing index.ts for src/lib
* Add bazel rules for schematics
* Fix incorrect module_name for hyphenated lib ng_module rules
* Add NgModules to `imports` of the example module (formerly were just
exports)
This defines a bazel rule to bundle sass partials into a single file
using the "scss-bundle" npm package. The rule definition is commented so
that it can serve as an example for creating other rules in the future.
I've also added the missing build file for badge so that its theme can
be included in the bundle.
* Adds a stylelint rule that will log a warning for top-level ampersand selectors inside of mixins. This will help us avoid issues like #9991 in the future.
* Makes the `mat-radio-color` internal.
* Fixes that the UMD bundles, which use the `define` function in AMD mode, don't have a module name. This feature has been added in later versions of Rollup, so we had to upgrade. By comparing with the previous UMD bundles, the bundles still seem to work properly (also in our demo-app).
Fixes#10142
* Updates dgeni-packages to the latest version (to include https://github.com/angular/dgeni-packages/pull/262)
* Cleans up the logic for removing duplicate exports and aliases from Dgeni. Right now, it can happen that parameter Dgeni docs are being filtered out.
Adds a stylelint rule that will ensure that all of the CSS rules inside theme files are placed inside a mixin. This avoids style duplication whenever the file is imported.
Relates to #9999.
Ensures that versions are following a consistent format before publishing. e.g. versions like `6.0.0-beta-0` is not valid, because the last dash should be actually a dot.
Closes#9910.
