The hook test now owns its temporary repository identity, and the repository declares LF text checkouts so generated distributions compare consistently on Windows. Constraint: Release readiness must pass on clean Linux, macOS, and Windows runners. Rejected: Configure CI-only Git defaults | would leave local and downstream Windows checkouts inconsistent. Confidence: high Scope-risk: narrow Directive: Keep generated distribution text normalized to LF across supported hosts. Tested: tests/test-hooks.sh (228/228); git check-attr; git diff --check; bash syntax Not-tested: Windows runner execution pending CI
