Move the systems-theory lineage (Knowledge OS/Olympus/Mt.Olympus), the six
design-principle pillars (Meadows/Three-Ways/SRE/K8s/Brownian-ratchet/
flywheel), and the navigator/windshield theory off the public PRODUCT.md read
into docs/doctrine/lineage-and-theory.md. PRODUCT.md keeps Mission,
what-it-does, personas, honest Evidence, and Gaps, with brief pointers to the
doctrine. Re-pointed the two internal #lineage anchors so no links dangle.
Lands the EFC doctrine docs from the paper-mining session:
- docs/doctrine/effective-feedback-compute.md: the harness rules + feedback-quality
lens (I·V·R·M), with an IMPORTED-NOT-PROVEN banner — transfer to our traces is
pre-registered (age-k2w) and gated on volume, not yet measured.
- docs/the-science.md Part 10: Tier-A external evidence; ties EFC to the dK/dt
flywheel equation (same claim at two altitudes) + Agent-Harness Scaling reference.
The .agents/research mining + pre-registration notes stay local (gitignored
corpus), referenced via the repo's GitHub-URL convention. operating-loop.md
See-also pointer deferred (that file is contended).

Fresh-context refuter REFUTED the original fold for overclaiming gate
enforcement. Reclassified honestly against the shipped scripts:
- D4 single-writer: Embodied-in-gate -> Doctrine. reconcile-pr.sh funnels
the close through one path but does NOT verify the caller is a non-author
orchestrator (no caller-identity check). Orchestrator-only is convention.
- D5 evidence: clarified to embodied-as-evidence-PRESENCE. pawl-verdict.sh
requires non-empty reviewer evidence; it does NOT parse/prove command
transcripts. Command-citation is the doctrine aspiration.
- D6 fail-closed: rewrote 'quorum of one is a self-grade' to be consistent
with D3 + the fresh-context default — a self-grade is author==refuter BY
CONTEXT; one fresh-context refuter is NOT a self-grade and is the floor;
multi-model is the strengthener.
- D15 attention: split into Embodied (the exit-5 HOLD) + Doctrine (the
auto-redo loop + circuit breakers, which live in pawls.md prose + the
evolve loop/halt-check.sh, NOT in reconcile-pr.sh/pawl-verdict.sh).
- Header: corrected the 'load-bearing invariants already embodied' summary
to match the per-rule reclassifications.

AgentOps is now the one self-contained factory; the general fleet-operating
rules should live in the surviving repo. Distill the mt-olympus triangulated
kernel (D1-D16) into a single tight reference doc, adapted not blind-copied:
- KEEP the substrate-neutral rules (admission-first, author!=judge, fail-closed,
evidence-bound, single-writer, typed transitions, no-self-greening).
- For each rule note its disposition: embodied-in-gate (cited to pawls.md /
pawl-verdict.sh / reconcile-pr.sh / schema), advisory doctrine, or
dropped-as-cathedral.
- DROP the cathedral-specific rules (OS privilege floor, peercred kernel
identity, olympusd daemon, 55-case Rust gate spec, host LAW-0 ban) — the
ratchet pawl-gate embodies their general grain in AgentOps terms.
Cataloged in docs/documentation-index.md next to pawls.md. Validators
(validate-corpus.py / check-doctrine-drift.py) intentionally NOT ported: they
gate the mt-olympus marker-bounded corpus (quote anchors, distillations,
vendor-drift) which this single adapted doc does not carry.
