Removes the `DIRECTIONALITY_PROVIDER` since it isn't being used anywhere. This seems to be a remnant of the old approach to dealing with directionality.
The behavior where we don't allow new dialogs to be opened while a dialog is animating was introduced initially in #5769 to avoid issues where the user might open multiple dialogs by accident if they press enter one too many times. This is problematic because it also means that the consumer is blocked from opening dialogs for certain 300ms intervals. These changes approach the issue differently by moving focus onto the dialog container immediately while it's animating.
Fixes#6560.
* Tabs with a background color need to set the ripple colors to be the contrast color. Otherwise the ripples might be too dark/or light, depending on the color palette that is being used.
Disables user-defined `scroll-behavior: smooth` before restoring the scroll position when disabling the `BlockScrollStrategy`, which prevents browsers from animating the scroll position change.
Fixes#7139.
After the switch to lettable operators, we had started importing all operators via `rxjs/operators`. These changes switch us back to only importing the individual ones and add some linting so it doesn't happen in the future.
Currently the toolbar always generates the first `<md-toolbar-row>`. This means that developers have no opportunity to set directives/attributes/classes on the first toolbar row (e.g with flex-layout).
With this change, the toolbar won't auto-generate any `<md-toolbar-row>` element.
The toolbar will have two different row modes:
_Single row toolbar_
```html
<md-toolbar>
First Tow
</md-toolbar>
```
_Multiple rows toolbar_
```html
<md-toolbar>
<md-toolbar-row>First Row</md-toolbar-row>
<md-toolbar-row>Second Row</md-toolbar-row>
</md-toolbar>
```
This means that mixing those two row modes is no longer possible and allowed
```html
<md-toolbar>
<span>First Row</span>
<md-toolbar-row>Second Row</md-toolbar-row>
</md-toolbar>
```
BREAKING CHANGE: `<md-toolbar-row>` elements will be no longer auto-generated for the first row. Meaning that custom styling for the first `<md-toolbar-row>` is no longer working as before. Since no toolbar-row is auto-generated anymore, there are two different modes for the toolbar now. Either place content directly inside of the `<md-toolbar>` or place multiple `<md-toolbar-row>` elements.

* No longer copies and prefixes `README.md` files for the docs. Those are just in the repository for a better overview, but don't really have any use for the docs. Also they are conflicting with the `fetch` script on the material.angular.io repository.
